Most people think all combs are the same. Yet, if you’re a hair devotee like us, you know that’s not true. Each type of comb has benefits and detriments to consider. At least, they used to. We’ve recently discovered Pegasus, and this brand is a gamechanger.
Often, companies are told not to ‘reinvent the wheel’ when manufacturing household items. Thankfully, Pegasus didn’t listen. In 1995, their mission was to create a comb for all hair types, and they developed Flexinite technology.
Pegasus combs are made from 100% hard rubber. They glide through the hair, and their temperature adaptation means endless flexibility. Even better, the combs are heat and chemical resistant.
Clearly, Pegasus combs are not the ordinary variety.
One of the most popular types of combs offered by Pegasus is the barber line. We’ve already admired Flexinite technology, but let’s look a little closer.
First on the list is the Pegasus 514A Barber Comb Flattopper. It’s the comb with many adjectives and many features, too. The teeth are round and seamless to prevent damage to hair during styling. Plus, the saw cut means supreme gentleness. Use this tool for flattops, tapering and clipper-over-comb techniques.
Similarly, the Pegasus 516A Barber Comb Flattopper Small does all of the above, except it’s smaller! There’s also Pegasus 302 Barber Comb Tapered, which is perfect for cutting, scissor-over-comb, edges and general barbering. Alternate the two teeth widths on different hair types.
Fill your comb collection with other essential types. There’s the Pegasus 101 Tail Comb for styling and volume. The thin handle is suited for separating hair without fuss. For combing large sections of hair, the heavy-duty Pegasus 202 Styling Comb is best.
