Firstly, you need to consider the look you or your client is going for. You can go for a clear glue or one that's black. The clear one appears white when first applied but it will fade and become a clear substance. Black adhesive will dry black which can be a good or a bad thing depending on your skill and look.

If you're going for a smokey look, black will probably help to finalise the look. If you've gone for a soft glam style and you aren't the most confident, stick to clear.

Secondly, you need to decide on the base of the glue. Does your client has a latex allergy? Is waterproof needed for your event? Do you prefer to apply it in a tube or via a stick?

Thirdly, how will you apply the lashes when the glue is setting? Will you use your fingers or prefer to use tweezers? These small factors will help you to decide the best lash adhesives & tools so you can pull off the perfect look.
