Most people use face creams to add moisture back the skin, as well as keeping it clean and hydrated. If you suffer from oily skin, you may not even use moisturiser, while for those with dry skin, it will probably be your best friend.

Ingredients to Consider when Selecting a Face Cream

With so many options on the market, narrowing down to just a few key ingredients can be tough. If you are wanting added moisture to the skin, keep an eye out for products that contain hyaluronic acid and dimethicone, Glycerin, propylene glycol, proteins, and urea. Lanolin, mineral oil and petrolatum help lock the moisture in. For anti-ageing products, ensure products you are using contain collagen, vitamin C, jojoba oil, hyaluronic acid and retinol. If you wanted something for sun protection, look at the SPF level to see if they contain one. The higher the SPF, the more protection you'll have against the sun. The top-level of protection is 50+, but if you are using for sun protection consider at least SPF 15+.
