Mens skincare differs from that created for women. This is because a mans skin is roughly 25% thicker than that of a woman. With age, a mans skin will slowly start to thin out, while women generally won't see a change until menopause. For these reasons, the ingredients for skin care products often differ between genders.

Due to high levels of sebum and collagen, the chemical make up of mens skin is different. Men are prone to having more sensitive skin due to irritations like shaving.

Furthermore, oily skin and acne-prone skin is prevalent in males, while females have a different PH balance, making their skin dryer. It's important everyone gets the pampering they need to protect their skin with the right type of skincare.
