Dip Powder Perfection

Many people have been making the move from acrylics, to dip powder nails. They can be rather difficult to use so it is recommended to only use if you're a professional. The technique does require time and still involves a steady hand. Dip powders last longer than gels, approximately the same level of durability as acrylics. The whole powder process takes anywhere from 30 minutes to just over an hour depending on the technician and the requests of the client. Styles such as ombre nails can take longer. This is because you need to switch between colours. Adding jewels and patterns can also add time. There are a number of key benefits to picking powders of gels or acrylics.

Benefits Of Dip Powder

Firstly, one of the reasons why people are switching to dip powder is because they are able to achieve the same results but without the UV lights. Studies recently are encouraging people to use alternate products that do not require UV lights for health benefits. Secondly, powders are more durable, so clients won't need to worry about chipping or discolouration. Dip powders also offer another level of protection to the nail so they're less likely to break easily and when removed, the nail remains intact. They come in all the same colours as gels are regular polishes, making clients spoiled for choice. Additionally, you can still get glitters, nudes and vibrant colours in the powder so you don't have to compromise on choice.
