Hey Stacey was founded in 2019 after recognising a missed opportunity in the hair extension market for genuine, high-quality hair.

At the time, there were inconsistencies across the industry, with misleading information being provided. We wanted to create a range of hair extensions  truly made with the highest-quality hair.

The lifespan of hair extensions will always depend on how well they are maintained. We are confident in saying that our extensions can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months. Proper care—such as how often and how carefully you wash them—plays a major role in their longevity.

Storage also makes a vital difference. Always ensure your set is gently brushed before, during, and after every wear to help prolong its lifespan.

Hey Stacey hair extensions are made of Remy hair, which means they are 100% human hair. This allows you to treat your extensions much like your natural hair, including washing them. However, unlike your natural hair, extensions do not receive nutrients from your scalp and can become dry and brittle if washed too frequently. We recommend washing them only once every three months, or as soon as you notice product build-up. Product build-up makes brushing more difficult and can cause snagging, while also making styling nearly impossible.
