Shampoos for All Hair Types
Regardless of your hair length or gender, shampoo is something everyone uses. If you're a hairdresser, you'd go through it more so than others.
Having a large quantity of stock on hand is something you probably have because you understand its importance. Hair shampoo is used to help clean the hair of dirt and oil.
Some shampoos have specialised formulas to combat specific hair concerns. Examples of these include dandruff shampoos, clarifying and detox shampoos, as well as ones for added shine. If you're wanting to go the extra mile for your customers, specialised shampoos are best.
For blondes, consider using a specialised blue or purple shampoo. For oily hair, a charcoal detox range is best and dry hair may require a moisture range.
Establishing A Good Haircare Routine
Knowing your hair is an important part of establishing a washing regime. Those with oily and dry hair types will have different ways to care for their hair and a different frequency of washing.
For those with dry hair, it's recommended to limit the number of times you wash your hair. Try to wash it no more than a maximum of twice a week. This is because hair shampoo helps to strip away the oils from the hair. Since dry hair types need the oil, washing infrequently is best.
It's not uncommon for some people with oily hair to wash daily. Over-washing can be bad as this can increase the chance of scalp irritation. That same can be said about going too long between washes, as you can get an oil build-up which can slow and stop hair growth.
Additionally, use in conjunction with a good mask or conditioner.
