The Foundation of Our Journey

The story of AMR may surprise you. At just eleven years old, the founder got his start packing boxes in a local shop. It was during those early days that he identified a clear gap in the market — a need for a wholesale hair supplier that could bridge the gap between production costs and retail pricing.

Determined to provide affordable beauty and hair salon supplies, the founder persevered through many challenges. He attended exhibitions, sold salon furniture on eBay, and leased new premises. It wasn’t long before demand for AMR grew rapidly. The company soon began creating its own unique beauty and salon supplies, shipped directly from manufacturers to salons.

In 2010, AMR was officially established, with early efforts already delivering results beyond expectations. That momentum continued, and within just a year, the first AMR flagship store opened in Penrith, NSW.

In 2016, AMR reached another milestone with the launch of a dedicated blog to share industry knowledge and insights. At the same time, we established training facilities for metro customers, reinforcing our commitment to education and professional development.

In 2017, the first concept store was completed, supporting the rollout of additional stores nationwide. AMR currently operates three retail stores across Australia, providing customers with convenient access to professional hair and beauty products. Located in Gregory Hills (NSW), Penrith (NSW), and Epping (VIC), each store is designed to deliver a hands-on shopping experience supported by knowledgeable staff. These locations allow AMR to connect directly with customers, offering expert advice, product recommendations, and a seamless in-store experience.
