- Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, mix the SoColor 3VR with Matrix Cream Developer (10, 20, 30, or 40 volume) in a 1:1 mixing ratio.
- Application: Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair. The 3VR shade is a "cool-dominant" fashion shade; ensure thorough saturation to allow the violet pigments to fully neutralize any underlying warmth for a true "deep plum" finish.
- Processing: Process at room temperature for 35 to 45 minutes. Do not use heat, as ambient air processing ensures the complex violet and red molecules develop with maximum longevity.
- Rinse: Rinse the hair thoroughly with cool water to keep the cuticle sealed. Shampoo and condition with a professional sulfate-free system (such as Matrix Keep Me Vivid) to maintain the intensity of the violet tones.
