For the professional removal of tape-in hair extensions, apply a generous amount of X-Ten Dissolve directly onto the top edge of the extension bond. Allow the solution to sit for 30–60 seconds to penetrate the adhesive. Gently use your fingers or a tail comb to separate the two tape tabs. If resistance is felt, apply more Dissolve between the tabs until they slide apart effortlessly. Once the extension is removed, apply a small amount of product to any remaining residue on the natural hair and comb through gently. Always follow with a clarifying shampoo to remove all traces of the oil-based remover before re-application of new extensions.
