Vitaman is a brand all men need to try if they are wanting to get a sense of natural luxury. Today being a man means being well-groomed and taking care of your appearance. Whether it’s looking after your skin, pampering yourself or just keeping a well-groomed beard, now’s the time to treat yourself. More and more men are turning to use beauty products and we welcome the idea.  Feeling good on the inside also means feeling good on the outside. This is why it’s important for men to take time to relax and feel invigorated too.

Big stars using the brand and backing it. If you’re a soccer fan, you’ll be psyched to know that Tim Cahill is an ambassador and shareholder of the brand.  He also has a few of his other teammates using the products, for things like muscle rejuvenation and facials! You may even see a few footballers like Storms and Dragons players promoting the range all over their personal social pages. Here’s how and why Vitaman is your go-to men’s grooming essentials.

What is Vitaman?

Their range consists of hair care, skincare, waxes and natural grooming essentials made specifically for men. Kicked off here in Sydney, the brand is inspired completely by all-natural ingredients! Australia has some of the most unique plants and herbs found nowhere else in the world and their benefits impressive! One of the key ingredients used in their products is Kakadu plum extract which contains 3000mg of Vitamin C per 100g of fruit, it is full of antioxidants!

These products are either used for home use or for salon treatments. Depending on your wants and needs, you can use them daily or used as an add on pamperings to your next pampering session. They’ve also won a few awards at the GQ awards for particular products like their natural sprays.

How Vitaman Started:

Using all naturally sourced ingredients, Vitaman is actually an Australian company. The primal focus of the company is around nature, inspired by the gorgeous landscapes our beautiful country has to offer. Ingredients used in Vitaman are found in Australia, derived from native botanicals found nowhere else in the world. One of the things we love most about the brand is that it was founded by Clare Castles, a female entrepreneur. She’s an experienced Beauty Therapist, International Skincare Lecturer, and former Salon Owner (Impressive right?). To top it all off, she started the business in 1999 as the first men’s grooming e-commerce brand in Australia!

Products Vitaman Offer:

With so many specialised products that Vitaman has to offer, it’s hard to pick a winner from the brand. Specially designed to help different aspects of a male’s grooming needs from skincare to haircare. Each of the active ingredients does something different to achieve the best results for all skin types. Every item was inspired by natural elements that reflect the Australian environment some way. Let’s take a look what’s on offer:

Face:

Doesn’t matter if you are a bearded gent or smooth as a baby, the range will be perfect for your face. The facial products that they offer are from shaving needs to anti-wrinkle serums and everything in-between. With the face scrub its’s designed for everyday use. Containing vital ingredients like Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Allantoin, and Vitamin E, it leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. There’s the Mud masque which uses a mineral-rich formula, fortified with 200-year-old clay sourced from the Australian Outback, that purifies your skin.

So if you’re looking for beard oil, the formula for this one contains Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Patchouli Oil. Used to prevent irritation from shaving, it adds extra silky softness to your skin. Accompany this with their aftershave balm and skin protector to help improve the texture of the skin by using the worlds highest level of vitamin C which is also proven to reduce visible signs of ageing. An organic lip moisturiser is also on offer made of 100% naturally derived ingredients which soothe dry lips with macadamia seed oil and shea butter.

Hair:

Most of the shampoos and conditioners are made to target specific hair needs like volumising properties to the hair or adding moisture. For styling, you have the option to pick from gel, pomade, creme and mud. Pomades and cremes are a little lighter where mud gives texture and the gel gives off a shine. These are all water-soluble so will wash out easily but still offers a stronghold.

Volumising shampoo and conditioner help to add that extra boost to your hair. Do you have hair tends to be thinning a little? This will help add that bounce and shine to make your hair look fuller. Use in conjunction with the hair food treatment between shampooing and conditioning to add body and thickness to the hair. Moisturising shampoo and conditioner are perfect for those with dry and flaky scalps. Scalp Treatment’s are also great at helping dry hair and even helps to relieve any itching and irritation due to dry scalp.

Wanting to add extra moisture to your hair and beard? A leave-in hair & beard moisturiser helps to bring that extra bit of life to your hair. Consisting of Kakadu Plum Fruit Extract, Argan Kernel Oil, and Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, it reduces frizz. If you suffer the other end of the spectrum and your hair is extremely oily, then the oil control lotion will be your new best friend. Best used in conjunction with the oil control shampoo to help reduce the amount of oil created by the hair.

Spa & Body:

Men probably take care of their bodies the least. Body products are created to help you relax while still adding additional benefits to the skin. Often go for regular massages? You may even consider getting them to use this product from now on. As a salon owner, you may want to add this to your stock too.

Sports oil is ideal for sports-related injuries resulting from exercise and/or muscular soreness. It helps to ease and eliminate pain and stiffness from joint and muscle strains, a great way to recover quickly.  Massage wax is also available which is designed purely for professionals. A small amount of wax is added to the therapist’s knuckles and forearms and used during the de-stress face & back treatments. Relaxing oil was created to make you or your clients achieve a heightened state of relaxation.  Body moisturiser will be a great solution for added moisture after the massage or great to use daily at home.

Using sea salt body scrub is ideal for unclogging pores and removing dirt. Great if you’ve spent the weekend playing in the mud! Face and body cleanser also remove dirt, oil and other pollutants from the skin without drying it. Follow on from this by using a body moisturiser to hydrate the skin. It’s great for all skin types, absorbs quickly and is PH balanced so it doesn’t leave your skin looking oily. Finally, in the range, they also offer deodorant in both ocean and earth scents. Fresh scents derived from natural ingredients won’t leave white marks and will give you an earthy smell.
