Applying false lashes is a skill not everyone can master. You need a steady hand and dedication to get it perfect every time. It doesn't matter if you're a lash expert or an amateur, with the right amount of practice you'll become great at it. How to Choose False Lashes

Firstly, decide the look you're going for. Thicker bands holding all the lashes together often give more of a voluminous look. The thinner bands offer a more glamorous look but can be harder to pull off as it can sometimes be less forgiving. Thinner bands tend to also mean a little more flexibility, so in general, they're easier to apply. Secondly, consider if you're after reusable lashes or one-time use. Mink lashes tend to last longer as they are real hair, so you can sometimes get up to 20 wears from them if you treat them right. They do require a bit of maintenance like brushing and cleaning if you've applied mascara to them.

Applying False Lashes

It doesn't really matter the type of lash you've selected when it comes to application. Firstly, do your entire face makeup, including curling your eyelashes and applying mascara. Secondly, measure up the false lashes to your eye. Do this by holding them against your eye, and cutting them off at the longer fan end of the lashes. Thirdly, apply glue to the entire band of the lashes, adding a little extra on the end. Thirdly, you allow the glue to dry and little and become tacky before applying to the eye. While waiting for it to dry, bend the lashes to help make them more flexible and appear more natural on your eyes. Use the tweezers to place the fake lashes about your own eyelashes. When you are happy with the positioning, use the backend of the tweezers to apply to your eye. Allow it to dry and then recoat your eyeliner to fill it in the gaps. Additionally, you can an alternate method where you cut the lash into sections to glue.
