- Preparation: Pour beads into a professional wax heater. Melt completely at a high temperature (up to 120°C / 248°F), then allow to cool.
- Consistency: The wax is ready when it reaches a thick honey consistency. The ideal working temperature is approximately 60°C (140°F). Always test on your inner wrist first.
- Cleanse: Use LYCON Lycotane Skin Cleanser to remove surface oils and debris.
- Protect: Apply a light film of LYCON Pre-Waxing Oil. Massage well and tissue off any excess. This ensures the wax grips only the hair, not the skin.
- Application: Apply the wax firmly against the hair growth in patches, creating a slightly fuller edge (the "lip") for easier removal.
- Removal: Once set and pliable (not brittle), flick up the edge and pull the patch back quickly against the direction of hair growth.
- Finishing: Re-cleanse with Lycotane to close follicles, then apply Tea-Tree Soothe or Soothing Cream to hydrate.
