- Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, combine the SoColor 4A with Matrix Cream Developer (10, 20, 30, or 40 volume) in a 1:1 mixing ratio.
- Application: Apply the color to dry, unwashed hair. The 4A shade is a "cool-toned" brown; it is ideal for clients with a natural level 4 who want to eliminate orange or red undertones. Ensure thorough saturation for a clean, matte finish.
- Processing: Process at room temperature for 35 to 45 minutes. Do not use heat, as the Pre-Bonded technology is designed to stabilize and develop at ambient temperature.
- Rinse: Rinse the hair thoroughly until the water runs clear. Shampoo and condition with a professional-grade color-safe system (like Matrix Color Obsessed) to maintain the cool ash pigment.
