- Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, mix the SoColor 506NA with 20 Volume Matrix Cream Developer in a 1:1 mixing ratio. (20 Volume is the industry standard for the 500 series to ensure maximum penetration of resistant gray hair).
- Application: Apply to dry, unwashed hair. Start application at the root area where gray is most prominent. The 506NA is specifically designed to provide a cool, natural finish, making it the perfect choice for clients who want to avoid the "red glow" often associated with gray coverage.
- Processing: Process at room temperature for 45 minutes. Do not use heat. The extended time allows the dense, cool pigments to fully saturate the hair fiber and provide lasting coverage.
- Rinse: Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. Shampoo and condition with a professional-grade color-safe system (like Matrix Brass Off) to maintain the cool ash reflect.
