- Mixing: Mix the SoColor 508N with 20 Volume Matrix Cream Developer in a 1:1 mixing ratio. (Using 20 Volume is the professional standard for the Extra Coverage series to ensure sufficient cuticle penetration on resistant gray strands).
- Application: Apply to dry, unwashed hair. For the most effective gray coverage, start application on the most resistant areas (typically the temples and front hairline). The 508N provides a neutral, natural-looking blonde base that eliminates the "translucency" often found in standard Level 8 shades.
- Processing: Process at room temperature for a full 45 minutes. Do not use heat. The extended 45-minute window is necessary for the specialized pigments to anchor deeply into the resistant hair fiber.
- Rinse: Rinse the hair thoroughly until the water runs completely clear. Shampoo and condition with a professional color-safe system (such as Matrix Color Obsessed) to maintain the blonde’s clarity and shine.
