- Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, mix the SoColor 5BR with Matrix Cream Developer (10, 20, 30, or 40 volume) in a 1:1 mixing ratio.
- Application: Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair. The 5BR is a "Blended" shade, meaning it contains a natural brown base to ensure the red reflects are sophisticated and grounded. It is ideal for adding "richness" to flat brunette levels.
- Processing: Process at room temperature for 35 to 45 minutes. Do not use heat. Ambient air development ensures the complex brown-red molecules stabilize for superior color longevity.
- Rinse: Rinse the hair thoroughly until the water runs clear. Shampoo and condition with a professional color-safe system to seal the cuticle and lock in the warm, mahogany-like reflections.
