Phase 1: Sterilization & Prep
- Sanitize the Roller: Before every use, submerge the roller head in 70% Isopropyl Alcohol for 10 minutes.
- Cleanse the Skin: Thoroughly wash your face or the treatment area with a gentle, pH-balanced cleanser to remove all makeup, oil, and bacteria.
- Dry: Pat the skin dry with a clean, lint-free towel.
Phase 2: The Rolling Technique
- Sectioning: Work in small sections (e.g., forehead, right cheek, left cheek, chin).
- The "Union Jack" Pattern: To ensure even coverage without over-traumatizing the skin, roll in four directions per section:
- Vertical: 4–5 times.
- Horizontal: 4–5 times.
- Diagonal (Left to Right): 4–5 times.
- Diagonal (Right to Left): 4–5 times.
- Pressure: Apply light, even pressure. You should feel the needles, but it should not be painful or cause significant bleeding. Do not press hard.
- Lift to Pivot: Always lift the roller off the skin before changing directions. Dragging the needles while turning can cause "track-mark" scratches.
Phase 3: Post-Treatment Care
- Apply Serums: Immediately after rolling, apply a hydrating serum (like Hyaluronic Acid) or a Vitamin C serum. The micro-channels created by the needles allow for up to 300% better absorption.
- Clean the Tool: Rinse the roller under warm running water, then sanitize again in 70% alcohol for 10 minutes. Let it air dry before placing it back in its protective case.
- Sun Protection: Your skin will be sensitive. Avoid direct sun exposure and apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ the following morning.
