Step 1: Be Poppin’ Curl Shampoo
- Preparation: Saturate hair thoroughly with warm water. Curls require more water than straight hair to activate the cleansing agents.
- Application: Apply a small amount to the scalp. Use your fingertips to massage in circular motions. This formula is low-lather to ensure it doesn't strip the hair's natural oils.
- Rinse: Allow the suds to run down the lengths of the hair. Rinse thoroughly.
Step 2: Be Poppin’ Curl Conditioner
- Application: After shampooing, apply a generous amount from mid-lengths to ends.
- Detangling: While the conditioner is in, use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to gently detangle. This prevents breakage and helps define the curl pattern.
- Processing: Leave for 2–3 minutes. For extra dry curls, leave for 5 minutes as a mini-mask.
- The "Squish to Condish" Technique: While rinsing with cool water, cup your hair in your hands and "squish" upward toward the scalp. This helps lock moisture into the hair cuticle.
