- Mixing: Combine SoColor 506N with 20 Volume Matrix Cream Developer in a 1:1 mixing ratio. Note: For the Extra Coverage series, 20 Volume is required to ensure the pigments penetrate the dense cuticle of resistant gray hair.
- Application: Apply to dry, unwashed hair. Start application in the areas where gray hair is most concentrated (usually the front hairline). The 506N provides a balanced, natural-looking light brown that avoids the "warm/orange" hot-root effect often seen in other brands.
- Processing: Process at room temperature for a full 45 minutes. Do not use heat. The extended processing time is necessary for the high-load pigments to fully anchor into the hair shaft.
- Rinse: Rinse the hair thoroughly until the water runs clear. Cleanse and condition with a professional color-safe system to lock in the natural depth.
