- Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, mix the SoColor 507R with 20 Volume Matrix Cream Developer in a 1:1 mixing ratio. (20 Volume is essential for the 500 series to ensure the cuticles of resistant gray hair are sufficiently opened for the red pigments to anchor).
- Application: Apply to dry, unwashed hair. Start application where the gray concentration is highest. The 507R provides a rich, dark blonde base with vibrant red reflects, specifically calibrated to prevent "pinking" on white hair.
- Processing: Process at room temperature for 45 minutes. Do not use heat. Gray hair requires the full 45 minutes to allow the "Extra Coverage" technology to fully saturate and prevent the red tones from fading prematurely.
- Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with cool to lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Shampoo and condition with a professional color-safe system to seal the cuticle and lock in the copper-red brilliance.
