- Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, mix the SoColor 5BC with Matrix Cream Developer (10, 20, 30, or 40 volume) in a 1:1 mixing ratio.
- Application: Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair. The 5BC is a Blended Copper; it is ideal for adding warmth to natural brunettes or creating a soft, light auburn result. Ensure even saturation to allow the copper-gold reflects to develop uniformly.
- Processing: Process at room temperature for 35 to 45 minutes. Do not use heat. Ambient air processing is essential to allow the delicate copper molecules to anchor properly for maximum longevity.
- Rinse: Rinse the hair thoroughly until the water runs clear. Shampoo and condition with a professional sulfate-free system (such as Matrix Keep Me Vivid) to prevent the premature fading of warm copper tones.
