- Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, mix the SoColor 5M with Matrix Cream Developer (10, 20, 30, or 40 volume) in a 1:1 mixing ratio.
- Application: Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair. The 5M is ideal for clients who want a natural-looking brunette with a touch of "richness" that isn't overly red or flatly ash. Ensure thorough saturation to allow the mocha pigments to develop their full multi-tonal depth.
- Processing: Process at room temperature for 35 to 45 minutes. Do not use heat. Ambient air processing ensures the Bond-Protecting Concentrate and the mocha pigments stabilize for maximum durability.
- Rinse: Rinse the hair thoroughly until the water runs clear. Shampoo and condition with a professional color-safe system to seal the cuticle and lock in the signature mocha shine.
