- Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, mix the SoColor 5NA with Matrix Cream Developer (10, 20, 30, or 40 volume) in a 1:1 mixing ratio. (20 Volume is recommended for standard gray coverage).
- Application: Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair. The 5NA is a "cool-toned" natural; it is the ideal choice for clients who want a natural light brown result but have a tendency to pull "too much warmth" or red during the lifting process.
- Processing: Process at room temperature for 35 to 45 minutes. Do not use heat. Ambient air processing ensures the Pre-Bonded formula stabilizes and the ash pigments anchor correctly for a matte finish.
- Rinse: Rinse the hair thoroughly until the water runs clear. Shampoo and condition with a professional color-safe system (like Matrix Brass Off) to maintain the cool, natural ash reflection.
