- Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, mix the SoColor 5RC with Matrix Cream Developer (10, 20, 30, or 40 volume) in a 1:1 mixing ratio.
- Application: Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair. The 5RC is a Red-Copper; it is designed to provide a vibrant, fiery warmth while maintaining a level 5 depth. Ensure thorough saturation to allow the copper-red molecules to create a uniform, luminous reflect.
- Processing: Process at room temperature for 35 to 45 minutes. Do not use heat. Ambient air development is critical for fashion shades like 5RC to ensure the delicate red and copper pigments stabilize for maximum longevity.
- Rinse: Rinse the hair thoroughly with cool water to keep the cuticle sealed. Shampoo and condition with a professional sulfate-free system (such as Matrix Keep Me Vivid) to protect the intensity of the warm reflects.
