1. Assembly and Setup
Place the HVLP500 Turbine Machine on a flat, dry surface near a power outlet. Attach the Click Connect Hose to the turbine by pushing it firmly into the air outlet until it clicks. Connect the other end of the 2.5m hose to the base of the HVLP Spray Gun in the same manner. Ensure the connection is airtight to maintain consistent spray pressure.
2. Preparing the Solution
Unscrew the Solution Pot from the spray gun. Fill the pot with your desired Summer Kiss Tanning Solution (do not overfill; leave space for the pickup tube). Secure the lid or screw the pot back onto the spray gun firmly to prevent leaks.
3. Adjusting the Spray Pattern
Before applying to a client, perform a test spray on a tanning mitt or paper towel. Adjust the nozzle at the front of the HVLP Spray Gun to choose your spray orientation:
- Horizontal Fan: For vertical strokes (up and down).
- Vertical Fan: For horizontal strokes (side to side).
- Round Pattern: For detail work or contouring.
Use the fluid control dial behind the trigger to regulate the amount of solution released.
4. The Tanning Application
Hold the spray gun approximately 20–30cm away from the skin. Start the turbine and begin your movement before pulling the trigger to ensure a seamless application. Move the gun in smooth, steady strokes, overlapping slightly to avoid streaks. Work in sections (e.g., legs, torso, arms, then back).
5. Drying and Finishing
Once the application is complete, detach the hose from the spray gun. Use the warm air flow directly from the Click Connect Hose to gently dry the client’s skin before they dress.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
After each session, empty any remaining solution from the pot and rinse it with warm water. Fill the pot with clean water and spray it through the gun until the mist is clear. This prevents solution buildup and ensures the longevity of the HVLP needle.
